Massie Party Commercial

Hey guys,

I've been quite busy lately. Work, work and more work. But between reading and reading, we take our camera to have fun. This is the result: the commercial of the House Party we keep on throwing twice a year for 3 years already, The Massie Party. Parties which are the excuse to meet all our friends who live in different cities and countries.

I'm looking foward to the 13th to come.

VETO - Cannibal

Films: Gummo

Gummo (1997) is one of these films that make you think about our own society. This film, with a strong surrealist influences, is about the society that hardly is shown on tv. These people who has nothing to do with their lifes and they just waste time doing nothing. A very interesting film where violence, homophobia, racism... are shown in a diferent and breath-taken way.

Do not except the prototype of film we're used to watch. The plot of the flim is difficult to be described since it's the camera who follows the character as if it was a documental.

Some scenes really worth it. For instance, the scene where two kids seem to play with the bunny guy with toy guns is really shocking. The violence is not in the guns, is on the people who use them. Another scence that shocked me is when Solomon is taking a bath in a very dirty bath with dark water and he is eating while he's mum is washing his hair.

Without any doubt, this is one of these films you have to watch at least once in your life.

50's Night

Ir a una discoteca. Darte cuenta de que la musica es una mierda. Ver que todos los que te rodean son chonis. Irte de ese sitio. Entrar en un restaurante de comida basura. This is a text I wrote quite long time ago... hope you like it

The breeze of my soul travels downhill every centimetre of your back neck. Poor soul that I am giving to you. Miserable slavery that gives me life everytime I am with you and die everytime I kiss your lips, these ones that save zealously our love. Spring flower of my hands that goes slowly and peacefully looking for a new geography to explore, delighting and crying dewdrops everytime that it comes across with wooden particules of the helm that drive my boat. The moon shines at the crack of dawn after a long night. In the middle of material white narcissus I find you lied and slept. My eyes never saw such a beauty. Millennial ruins collapsed searching a new impire, ruins that turn into dust. Dry and soft dust that is risen by the velvety morning breeze and bring them further than the place that even the heavenly cart cannot make out from his high way. Life that without life is dead. Your closed eyelids reminds me this fragile paradise. A Spring that could not ride the steed with silky bows on the red fields full of poppies without the help of the blind ephebe. Let’s fly and I will take you the place that anyone arrived. And then, it will be when you and me will start to make real our dreams. Let’s fly. Stifling morning freshness ties me up to every pore of your skin and moor me to you. Fragile galleon that controls my log whose treasure is held by my shoulders. Irreal dreams that are not be able to be hidden by the truth. A truth that escapes from my hands and makes my hair to flutter over the waves of your back. Hand to hand, lips to lips, nose to nose… you open your eyes and smile me. Smile sticks in my pupils. I close my eyes and I die with the gentle touch of Thanatos over my neck. La brisa de mi alma recorre cuesta abajo cada centímetro de tú nuca. Pobre alma que te entrego, mísera esclavitud mía que me hace vivir siempre que estoy junto a tí y morir cada vez que beso tus labios, esos que guardan celosamente nuestro amor. Flor de primavera de mis manos recorre celosa y sigilosamente buscando una geografía nueva por explorar, regocijando y llorando con gotas de rocío cada vez que se encuentran con las partículas de madera del galeón que guía mi nave. La luna despunta al alba tras una oscura noche. Entre narcisos blancos de tela te hayo yaciente y dormido. Mis ojos nunca vieron tal belleza, milenarias ruinas desplomadas en busca de un nuevo imperio, ruinas que se hacen polvo, seco y ligero que la suave brisa matinal eleva al viento y las traslada más allá donde cualquier carro celestial haya podido divisar desde su alto y elevado camino. Vida que sin vida es muerte. Tus parpados, cerrados, me hacen recordar ese frágil paraíso. I've been busy these days and I couldnt have time to post anything new. Today I want to show you one of my favourite looks we could enjoy in the fashion shows in NY, Milan and Paris... Hope you like them!

Ermenegildo Zerna

If your office was high in the Dolemites, this would be your winter wardrobe—a collection of plush gray flannel suits, nipped and tucked just so, paired with a range of dark knit shirts and rich cashmere ties. And what about casual Friday? It's got that covered too, with its thick turtlenecks and shearling-lined leather bombers.

Givenchy

Aspirational monasticism. Squint a bit and you can see that albino dude from The Da Vinci Code wearing these garments: slim suits in priestly black, shirts in white, monk sandals re-done in patent leather that can be worn with a gold crown-of-thorns necklace, as well as spandex tights and skirt-shorts that are perfect for concealing a cincture.

Bottega Veneta

String ties, pompadours, snap-brim fedoras, thick-soled brogues with white socks and upturned cuffs, double-breasted wool blazers in black, purple, and red, cut loose to let you swagger in style. This season, it's the Bottega Man as part Teddy Boy, part Jerry Lee Lewis, and 100 percent hell-raiser.

Alexander McQueen

An entirely printed collection—of suits, leather coats, bank-heist ski masks, even shoes. Some of the prints are on the dark side like a pile of human skulls and bones, some simply puzzling. You could try to make sense of it all, or just accept it as McQueen being his usual subversive, brilliant, mischievous, visionary self.

Neil Barret

Let's see, are you in the mood for your black wool peacoat, or is it more of a leather-jacket day? Not to worry. Neil Barrett has all your schizo style needs covered. He fuses fabrics (and lapels and collars) together in a broad selection of precisely tailored outerwear. And just as the individual pieces are cut-and-paste jobs, so is the collection itself, half of which looks as if Neil tossed it in the washer and dryer, producing a run of a crumpled-and-creased charcoal wool suits and black leather coats.

Hermés

What's French for "clothes for rich young dudes"? In other words, suits that at first look remind you of your own stuff (i.e., there's nothing fashion-y here), but when you look closer, you see the differences: they're suits that are cut more French and youthful than American (i.e., slim and tight and shuzzhed up with a wallet chain.) And Hermès being Hermès, it's all about the insane craftsmanship. Especially when it comes to the leathers and other skins, their specialty. Like in the shoes and croc jackets and suede coats. Just the thing you want to be wearing when you are having brunch on Sunday and ordering a $30 bellini.

Simon Spurr

Not every stylish American guy wants to walk around these days in a sack suit, looking like JFK or an extra on Mad Men. Some dapper gents out there aspire to something a bit more...British, a bit more rakish. And for that they can turn to expat Simon Spurr, he of the double-breasted everything (topcoats, peacoats, snug leather jackets), tight-as-a-corset three-piece suits, and black jeans as trim as a tailored trouser. In a sense, exactly what you'd expect from an Englishman in New York.

Gucci

Picture Robert Evans's life in the swinging '70s—jetting from Palm Springs to Gstaad to a red-carpet moment—and then picture his suitcase. The Gucci man is a man on the move, and one dressed for any locale. Slimmer-cut wool suits in camel and gray for the office; navy blazers for the club, paired with iconic bit loafers; chunky wrap sweaters for in front of the fire. Then throw in some fur, a corduroy safari suit, and some extra-lush blazers in magenta and ruby for all those other moments in a man's life, and it's showtime.

John Galliano

Let's just say, Not so...elementary. As always, Galliano crafts a multi-act drama. (Spoiler alert: Important plot information follows!) There's Sherlock Holmes (well-cut trenches) meets Edwardian dandy (slick, elegant, eight-button double-breasted suits)

Giorgio Armani

Velvet pants and sports jackets, berets, Cossack coats, shawl collars. A mostly muted palette of gray, black, tan, and white. As always, Giorgio Armani knows what he likes, and gives you plenty of ways to see it.

Prada

This season, Mrs. Prada takes all the best pieces in a man's closet and does them in her own inimitable way: navy and gray suits; camel sport coats paired with pale blue or pink shirts; moleskin topcoats with thick-knit collars; form-fitting peacoats. But Prada being Prada, there's always the wild and new: like topcoats in pink-gray-and-white camouflage or in a shiny, rubbery black. Clothes for a man who treasures the classics but knows he is living in the thick of the 21st century.

La Vanguardia: Blogueros que marcan

Today, I'm specially happy because I could find online the article about bloggers in which I appearred last 30th of January in the Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia. I was told that they put a picture on me by my Spanish friends but I could see it untill I fininally found it in the great Cocomode's the blog. It could sound silly, but I'm specially glad since I eventually appear in a print magazine from Spain, where I'm from. Thanks! :D

Hey guys!

This morning my friend TH phoned me to tell me really great news. I wont be in Spain, but lots of my friends are gonna come to England to throw my bday party with me. They're awsome! Some of them are in the following pictures. It was a night, long, long time ago! Almost a year and it was one of the best nights ever! And yes, that's Andalucia, in the South of Spain... not all the Spanish parties are with flamenco music and horses! Hahaha...

Massie's Party

Last weekend it was one of the most special partys, a Massie's Party. It's not a serious party, the themed of the party is a doll, Massie, so, as you as thought, it was quite fun. There were some problems with the music and the songs, but Shaun knew how to improve it and finally it became a fantastic party we wont forget so easily.

La semana pasada tuvo lugar una de las fiestas más especiales, una fiesta Massie. No es una fiesta seria, si no todo lo contrario, el tema de la fiesta es una muñeca, asi que, como podreis imaginar, no es para tomarselo en serio. Hubo algunos problemas con la música, pero gracias a la colaboración de Shaun, pudimos disfrutar de una noche que tardaremos en olvidar.
